Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow

Surrounding the striking architecture of Gallery of Modern Art, this installation is widely regarded as one of the UK’s most iconic and largest light canopies.

ARRO provided the full specification and supplied custom-manufactured lighting to restore the canopy to its original design and visual impact. Installed as part of Glasgow’s winter lighting programme, the canopy remains in place from October through to March, enhancing the city centre environment while also contributing to improved public safety and the night time visitor experience.
