ARRO partnered with Beano Studios London and DC Thomson to design and manufacture motifs featuring some of the Beano’s most famous comic characters.
The idea was to create an outdoor gallery so that every street showcased specially designed illuminations that reflect Dundee’s bold personality and character.
Taking inspiration from the city’s heritage, culture and design influence as a UNESCO City of Design, the designs incorporated many aspects of the city’s history with Jute and textile production, gave nod to the their maritime past and their innovation within the gaming world.
